Braces recommended?
06.06.2025
If your (children's) dental office recommends braces, you are welcome to drop by. We will advise you in detail.
If your dentist recommends that you visit an orthodontic practice with your child, it is often the first step towards healthy tooth and jaw development. But what actually happens at the orthodontist?
In a personal consultation appointment, we take a close look at your child's tooth alignment and jaw growth. We clearly explain whether and when treatment is advisable and what options are available. Sometimes, regular check-ups are sufficient; in other cases, early treatment can help avoid future problems.
Important: A consultation does not automatically mean that a brace is immediately necessary. We only recommend what is truly sensible and necessary, tailored individually to your child.
What happens if a brace is needed?
If we determine together that treatment is advisable, we calmly discuss the next steps with you. This includes which type of brace is best suited for your child—for example, a removable brace, fixed brackets, or discreet solutions. We explain the procedure, the expected duration, and answer all your questions. We also transparently clarify topics such as costs and possible coverage by health insurance.
What's important to us: You understand the treatment path, and your child feels well taken care of by us.
